Our  - promotion badge combines in an oval housing, dimensions 2.5" x 4.8", thickness 0.2", only, the ultrathinness of the EL technique with total homogenous backlighting.
The housing (PMMA) including the integrated coloured circle (ABS) is breakproof, water- and dust-sealed, as well as resistant against scratching and temperature changes (-20° to +70° Celsius; -4° to +158° Fahrenheit). The integrated circle is available in different standard colours (black, green, blue, red, yellow and white); furthermore the housing can be embossed with various diffraction foils.

Transparent foils, which may be printed with any characters, logos, slogans, or phrases, are backlighted by an oval EL foil. The illumination area is app. 5.9 square inches. The common illumination colour is white but there are other colours available (i.e. green, blue, orange, yellow). Our - promotion badge is mainly used for promotional purposes such as illuminating certain events (sports, music, open-air, sponsorships).

The - promotion badge is powered by a 9 Volt battery which is plugged into a so called Battery-Top. It includes a switch in order to choose ON, OFF and FLASH mode. The illumination density ranges at about 85 cd/m², the max. power consumption is 300 mW.
The - promotion badge comes completely, packed into a blister packing, including a 9 Volt battery, the Battery-Top and a two way pin, which enables the user to immediately enlighten the logo.

Furthermore, a 12 Volt version is available to use the - promotion badge e.g. in or on a vehicle. The included accessories allow to attach the badge e.g. outside or inside a vehicle. This version does not include the flash mode.
